Simple Bridesmaid Box DIY

Hi! I have a super fun post for you today! I recently asked my bridesmaids to be a part of my wedding day, and I obviously had to share how I asked with you guys.

I knew I wanted to make something pretty but simple and affordable, and I think I accomplished just that.

P.S. Is it just me or am I late to the bridesmaid-asking-game? We still have about 9 months until our wedding, but we have also been engaged for almost a year already. (This long engagement might be the death of me. But it’s also such a special season that I’ll never be in again so I am trying to enjoy it as much as I can!)

If you’re looking for a really easy and quick-to-put-together bridesmaid proposal box, keep reading!

GOODIES INSIDE | Nail Polish, Mini Champagne, Pretty Card

Tuck it in my Tux Essie Polish

La Marca Champagne

Pretty Card (homemade, but linked a pretty Etsy option)

PRETTY PACKAGING | White Box, Thick Satin Ribbon, Lettered Name

Box from Michael’s (7.75 x 7.75 x 7.35 option)

Ribbon from Walmart (any pretty thick ribbon will do!)

Hand Lettering by Me

White Paper Crinkle from Michael’s

I arranged the items in the box with plenty of crinkle. (The more crinkle the merrier! To be honest I was running out when I made this box so it’s a little weak in the crinkle department.)  I made the cute mini champagne bottle as the “centerpiece” because it was the largest item, and tucked the nail polish (which I scoured for to find a semi-wedding-related-name! feel free to laugh at my craziness!) and card into the sides.

Don’t forget to write a sweet and/or funny note on the inside to make your girls feel special! (And to ask them to be your bridesmaid, duh.)

Then, write the bridesmaid’s name on top and wrap it up present-style with pretty ribbon!

Overall, this was such an easy way to ask my girls to be my bridesmaids, but I still felt like it was pretty and had some thought behind it.

Feel free to pin or share this post for inspiration!

If you’re married/engaged, how did you ask your girls? I’d love to know! I love talking wedding!
