Happy Friday! I’m so happy it is finally the weekend. Yay!
I’m here to share my weekly faves, so if that’s why you’re here, go ahead and skip down to that section below! If you happen to be interested in my oh-so-interesting (lol) life, let’s chat for a sec.
I shared what a typical day in my life looks like yesterday, so if you missed that post, you can read it here.
Now that you’re all caught up, you can see that I’ve been a little bit busy. I’m having a really hard time adjusting to my crazy schedule, and would so so so appreciate any tips you have for dealing with busy seasons of life! I know some people are go-go-go people and that is SO NOT ME. I like slow and calm and I’m lacking that in my life right now. Sunday mornings at church are probably my favorite hours of the week because it is peaceful and slow and calm. It’s most definitely a fave.
Anyway, I have a very fun weekend ahead! Jake and I will spend tomorrow morning at a marriage revival being held by our church, and then are doing an escape room tomorrow night. I am very excited to escape/attempt to escape! Have you done an escape room? I’ll update you guys if it’s life-changing or something.
Okay, onto the faves.
1 | 2016 Chatbook
How cute, right?? I ordered this photo album when I saw it was on sale for $10 right after the holidays, and I’m just a little obsessed with it. Chatbook takes your photos from Instagram (or you can select photos) and creates an adorable little photo album for you. I love that my album starts with a fun trip Jake and I took to DC last January, and ends with a holiday tradition of ringing the United Way bell with my sister.
2 | Tarte Shape Tape Concealer
I don’t share beauty products on the blog very often, but actually have 2 beauty-related items in this post! I love concealer, and have searched for a good, long-lasting, high coverage, brightening concealer for a while. I splurged on a tube of Shape Tape and it’s really worth the splurge. If you are looking for a high-impact concealer, consider buying this one! (You can buy it here.)
3 | Tocca Liliana Perfume
I can’t believe I am just now mentioning this, but I received this perfume for Christmas from my mom and dad, and love it. It is a little bit different from scents I’ve worn in the past, but is sweet and feminine, which are qualities I lean toward. It is subtle, but not invisible. Go smell it and see if you like it, too! (You can check it out at Sephora, here.)
4 | To-Go Food Containers
To make bringing my lunch a little easier, I bought some food containers that have 2 compartments and I’m embarrassingly obsessed with them. They are hot pink and cute and convenient. I couldn’t find the exact ones online, but these are also cute (but more $$$).
Have a great weekend!!!
