Friday Favorites #35

friday-favs

GUYS I’M OFFICIALLY ON BREAK. I’m so so so happy and grateful for a WHOLE MONTH of time off. Even though I’ve been joking about not thinking at all during break, I do have some non-school-related things I want to accomplish. I think I might write a post about this soon! (P.S. Some of it is blog-related! Yay!)

I am so excited to bring you another week of favorites. Now that finals are done I feel like I can finally wash my hair breathe again. In the times in between studying my booty off, I did find some fun things to share with you. Keep reading to find out what those things are!

Friday Favorites

1 | May Designs Planner

FullSizeRender.jpg

Around Black Friday/Cyber Monday I noticed one of my favorite planner/notebook sites was having a good sale, so I took the plunge and chose my 2017 planner! I chose a large size weekly planner with a basic black+white inside and a classic black+white gingham print. (With my will-be new monogram on the front *swoon*) I’m so excited for January so I can start using it! Is it just me, or is it really painful to make the first marks in a pretty new planner or notebook? I don’t want to tarnish the beautiful innocence!!! (Too far?)

2 | Target Dollar Spot Christmas Stuff

I don’t know about you guys, but I hit up the target dollar spot like it’s a limited edition part of the store. (But really, cute stuff goes fast!) Right now there is SO MUCH cute holiday decor. There’s also really cute New Year’s Eve stuff too. If you’re needing some affordable decorations, party supplies, or stocking stuffers, run to the nearest Target and buy one of everything!

3 | Black + White Scarf

I found this scarf at Forever 21 last week and have already worn it twice! It’s a great size and I love the print. I couldn’t find this one online but linked a few similar ones here and here.

4 | Going Home

I can’t say this enough: I am so ready for a break from school. I am so ready to go home. I am so ready to spend time with family and friends. I am so ready for Christmas.

I’d like to give a little shout out to a grad school friend of mine who started a blog this week! You should totally read her first post. It was really insightful and a good read. Check it out here: https://kylashayne.wordpress.com

I hope you have a really good weekend. I am so excited to go home and truly rest. And have fun.
