Friday Favorites #32

I hope you had the most wonderful Thanksgiving surrounded by loved ones. I am relishing in the last few days of break before a busy 3 weeks begin Monday!

My favorites this week are a WEE bit holiday themed, but you totally don’t mind, right?

Friday Favorites

1 | Christmas Tree

My mom and I decorated one of her Christmas trees today and I’m kind of obsessed with how it turned out. I think a classic red and white theme is one of my all-time favorites, and I love how fun this tree turned out. I can’t wait to have my own big Christmas tree next year!

2 | Thanksgiving Slaw Recipe

I decided I wanted to make something kind of fresh for Thanksgiving this year, so I ran (my fingers) to Pinterest and found a yummy-sounding slaw recipe to try. I hit the jackpot with this one from Cooking Classy. It was really easy, quick to put together, and something I would totally make, not just for the holidays.

3 | Choosing Wedding Bands

This week while we were home, Jake and I picked and purchased our wedding bands!!! I’m so so excited for them to be made and sent our way, but it will be so hard to not wear them until next August! I may or may not sneak it and try it on a billion times from now till then secretly… shhhh.

4 | Cheesy Holiday Hallmark Movies

I. Can’t. Get. Enough. I’m the BIGGEST sucker for all the super cheesy, predictable, C-List (D???) actor-filled movies. You know, the ones where the girl spends Christmas in a magical snow globe-esque town and falls in love to a townie but has to struggle with whether or not she should stay with her career-obsessed boyfriend back home instead? Latest on my watch list is Christmas List, which…pretty much has the plot described above.

Totally played out sappy, made-for-tv movie, coming right up!
