Did you have a good week? I feel like I haven’t talked to you in forevs, so let’s do some catching up!
I FINALLY am done with midterms and don’t have another test until DECEMBER. (I’m excited, guys.) Can you believe November is next week? I can’t. The holidays can’t get here soon enough! But I’m working on being content and happy with where I’m at, so I won’t wish the time away too much. 😉
I had a wonderful Friday that included a morning run, a Target trip, putt-putt golf, and a movie! It was the perfect ending to a stressful week. This weekend I get to spend extra time with Jake because he doesn’t have a cross country meet, so that makes me happy. I’m not sure what we’ll do yet, but whatever we do is sure to be a good time!
Keep reading if you want to know some things I’ve been loving this week.
1 | Class Halloween Party
My SLP classmates got together for a halloween party this week and it was so much fun! I was a “woodland animal” which was interpreted as a bear or deer. Everyone had such fun costumes!
I snagged this recipe from Pinterest and it’s so easy and yummy! You have to make this this holiday season. It only has 3 ingredients and you can whip it up in a few minutes. Let me know if you try this out!
3 | Westworld
I just started watching this this week but it is such an interesting show. The theory is that “guests” (real people) go on vacation to this “theme park” world filled with “hosts”(robots) where you can do whatever you want. If you have HBO, give this show a watch and see what you think.
I bought this at Target and think it’s such a pretty version of a dry erase calendar. I love the thin gold frame and gold writing. Plus, it was affordable (win-win). I was totally inspired by Megan Minns. She uses 4 at a time and aren’t they the cutest? I linked where you can buy this on Amazon because I couldn’t find it online at Target, but mine still has them in stock!
I've gotten a few questions about my wall calendars so I thought I'd share with everyone! I got these dry erase wall calendars from @targetstyle and I believe they're still carrying them. I have them hanging on nails and just rotate them at the end of the month – that way I don't have to rewrite everything! I'm a huge fan of planning in 90 day increments so seeing at least 90 days in one glance is super important to my planning! I use little colorful post it flags to see launches, blog posts, client work, personal events, and more! I just can't visualize things well in Gmail so seeing the big picture stuff at a glance really helps me map out timelines and projects! Do you use any kind of wall calendars to keep organized or plan your year?
Have a great weekend!
